“On Songwriting” is a blog authored by Rick Jamison, a songwriter, guitarist and oil painter.

Rick has produced three CDs featuring his original music and is currently working on a fourth. His songs have been performed and recorded by various bands and his music is prominently featured in the documentary film, “Jump.” Rick has been a featured guest on numerous radio shows, and his original music can be heard from time to time on local public radio stations and podcasts.

Rick’s latest CD — The Magic Hour — features 16 of his original songs performed by an ensemble of outstanding musicians. Individual songs can also be previewed or purchased at iTunes.
